Zablam Lama Choepa and Tsok Offering ཟབ་ལམ་བླ་མ་མཆོད་པའི་སྒོ་ནས་ཚོགས་མཆོད།

Zablam Lama Chöpa and Tsok Offering is a profound Vajrayana practice that combines deep guru devotion with the powerful method of tsok (feast) offering. Zablam means “Profound Path,” and this practice is rooted in the recognition that the guru embodies the essence of all Buddhas, the source of blessings, and the living connection to realization. By offering the Lama Chöpa (Guru Puja), practitioners cultivate heartfelt devotion, purify obscurations, and receive the enlightened energy of the lineage.

The practice is traditionally performed together with a tsok offering, where practitioners gather to make symbolic offerings of food, drink, and ritual substances to the guru, the yidams (meditational deities), dakinis, and Dharma protectors. Through visualization and mantra, these offerings are transformed into vast oceans of nectar that delight the wisdom beings and simultaneously purify negativities, repair broken commitments (samaya), and restore harmony with the spiritual community.

Zablam Lama Chöpa and Tsok Offering is especially known for its power to accumulate merit and wisdom, pacify obstacles, and strengthen the bond with the teacher and lineage. It is often practiced on special occasions such as Guru Rinpoche Day, Dakinis’ Day, or significant anniversaries of great masters. Beyond material abundance, the essence of the offering is the practitioner’s pure devotion and intention, which transforms ordinary perception into sacred outlook.

Through this practice, obstacles are dispelled, blessings are received, and practitioners are reminded that the guru’s wisdom mind is inseparable from their own. It is both a communal celebration of enlightened energy and a profound inner training in seeing all phenomena as offerings, deepening the path toward realization.
