Shinje Chilo

Shinje Chilo (literally “Lord of Death’s Prayer”) is a profound Tibetan Buddhist practice and mantra dedicated to Shinje (Yama Dharmaraja), a powerful enlightened protector. Although his outer appearance is wrathful—symbolizing the destruction of ignorance, disease, and obstacles—Shinje’s true nature is compassion, working tirelessly to protect practitioners and guide them toward liberation.
