Offering of Incense as Reward to the Worldly Deities
This is a liturgy of incense offering to all the lineage masters, meditational deities, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Dakas and Dakinis, Dharma protector deities, and so forth, through an extensive ritual.
The benefits of this liturgy are: It helps to pacify the faults of disrespecting, holding wrong views, offending and displeasing spiritual masters and Buddhas, and of breaking precepts. It also helps to purify the atmosphere, to remove obscurations and impurities, to increase merits, to pacify the harms of the four natural calamities, and to avert sickness and pandemics. In short, it helps to pacify tragedies and obstacles, to increase auspiciousness, luck and blessing, and to attain all wishes swiftly.
