Upon the completion of the associated coloured-sand mandala, this year's Grand Ritual is held from 28 to 31 August 2026, and includes the accompanying Peaceful Fire Offering Ritual (Shiwe Jinsek) and the Naga Ritual on the final day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVajrabhairava is the wrathful aspect of Manjushri, the embodiment of the wisdom of all the Buddhas. This profound tantric practice is performed to clear obstacles, pacify harm and illness, purify negativity, and bring protection and long life to all who are connected with it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThroughout the days of the ritual the monastic sangha is sustained entirely by the kindness of sponsors. You are welcome to make an offering towards the mandala and ritual materials, the fire offering materials, the daily meals, tea and refreshments for the monks, or a cash offering to the sangha.
