Fire Puja – Peaceful Burnt Offering (Shiwe Jinsek)
This is a prayer ceremony for making offerings to the fire deities through the meditational deities.
The benefits of this prayer ceremony: It helps to purify the negative karmas and obscurations of the deceased accumulated from beginningless cyclic existence. It also helps the living to pacify obstacles that hinder glory, prosperity and long life, to increase virtuous actions and power, and to purify sins. Temporarily it helps accomplish aspirations and dispel obstacles, and ultimately to attain the state of the omniscient Buddha.
